User password reset procedure

Overview

If a user has forgotten their password, they will receive an error message when attempting to log in to perform administrative functions. The system administrator can perform a password reset from the MSDS Administrator.

Procedure

1. Start the MSDS Administrator Software.
2. Click on the Administration button.
3. Click on the Users button.
4. In the User ID field, begin typing the user's name. A list of user id's will appear. Select the user you would like to modify.
5. In the Password field, enter a new password for the user.
6. Click the Save button.
